Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using any game in the Bible Run series (“the App”), including Joseph’s Escape and future titles, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Bible Run is a series of free-to-play mobile endless-runner games that combine gameplay with biblical scripture. Players guide characters through obstacle courses, collect scrolls, and unlock Bible verses. The App is published in English and Spanish on Android and iOS.

The base game is free to play. The App also offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Bible Run Pro, which removes ads and unlocks social features — ghost races and live race lobbies — available only to subscribers who create an account. These optional features are described in the sections below.

3. Eligibility

The App is rated 9+ and appropriate for family play. Users under 13 should play under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian and should have parental consent before using any optional features that connect to Apple Game Center or Google Play Games.

Creating an account, purchasing a subscription, and using the social features require that you be of the age of majority in your place of residence, or that you have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for any charges.

4. Use of the App

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App’s systems, networks, or other users’ accounts
  • Modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the App
  • Exploit bugs or glitches to gain unfair advantage on leaderboards
  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other players in friend connections, ghost races, or live race lobbies, or choose a display name that is offensive, deceptive, or infringes another’s rights
  • Manipulate ghost races, live race lobbies, or leaderboards through cheating, falsified scores, or tampered replays
  • Abuse the referral program through self-referral, fake accounts, or other fraudulent or automated means

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers optional in-app purchases, including “Remove Ads,” which also unlocks premium continuation credits. All purchases are processed through Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS) and are subject to each platform’s respective terms. Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or platform policy. Refund requests are handled by the platform, not Betabox.

Bible Run Pro subscription. Bible Run Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that removes ads and unlocks the social features described in Section 7. The subscription name, billing period, and price are shown in the App at the point of purchase before you confirm. By subscribing, you authorize the following:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial, if one is offered, is forfeited when you purchase the corresponding subscription.

Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely by the app stores; Betabox does not process payments and cannot issue refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies and applicable law.

Referral program.The App may offer a “give a month, get a month” referral program that rewards you and a friend with promotional Bible Run Pro access when your friend subscribes through your invitation. Referral rewards are promotional subscription entitlements only: they have no cash value, are not redeemable for cash or any other currency, and may not be transferred or sold. Rewards are granted only for genuine referrals; we may withhold or revoke rewards obtained through self-referral, duplicate or fake accounts, or other fraudulent or abusive activity. We may change, suspend, or end the referral program, or modify its rewards, at any time.

6. Advertising

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ad inventory is selected by Google and is not individually reviewed by Betabox. You may also choose to watch rewarded video ads in exchange for in-game continuations. You can remove all ads by purchasing “Remove Ads.” See our Family-Safe Commitment for the content controls we enforce.

7. Accounts, Leaderboards, and Social Features

Accounts.You can play the base game without an account. Creating a free account — using Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or an email address and password — is optional and is required only to subscribe to Bible Run Pro or to use the social features below. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials secure, and that you are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Platform leaderboards. The App integrates with Google Play Games (Android) and Apple Game Center (iOS) for leaderboards and achievements. Sign-in is optional. If you sign in, your chosen Game Center or Play Games display name and your scores may be visible to other players. Daily Challenge scores can be shared with friends through the system share sheet at your initiative.

Friends, ghost races, and live lobbies.Bible Run Pro subscribers can connect with friends using a friend code, race against a friend’s “ghost” (a recorded run), and join live race lobbies. When you use these features, your display name and scores are shared with the people you connect with or the players in your lobby. You are responsible for the display name you choose and for your conduct toward other players, as described in Section 4. These features are available only while your subscription is active.

8. User Content and Stored Data

The App does not allow users to create, upload, or share free-form text, images, or other custom media. The limited information you do provide — your account email, your chosen display name, your friend connections, your scores, and the gameplay recordings used for ghost races — is stored on your device and, for the account and social features, on our cloud services so those features can function. Shared Daily Challenge results contain only scores and in-game metadata. How this information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — artwork, music, sound effects, character designs, level designs, and code — is owned by Betabox Labs LLC or its licensors. Scripture text is drawn from the World English Bible (public domain) and the Reina-Valera 1909 translation (public domain).

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Betabox Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including loss of data or game progress. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid Betabox for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) US $50.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or harms other users or the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. For material changes, we will notify you in-app before the change takes effect. Continued use of the App after a material change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose law grants you the right to bring a dispute in your local courts or under local consumer protection law, nothing in this section limits that right.

15. Miscellaneous

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Betabox regarding the App.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Force Majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemic, government action, or failure of third-party platforms or networks.

No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

16. Apple-Specific Terms (iOS Users)

These additional terms apply when you download the App from the Apple App Store. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, the following provisions control for iOS users:

  • Parties. These Terms are between you and Betabox Labs LLC only, and not with Apple. Betabox is solely responsible for the App and its content.
  • Scope of License. Your license to use the App is a non-transferable license to use it on any Apple-branded product you own or control, consistent with the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
  • Maintenance and Support. Betabox is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
  • Warranty. Betabox is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
  • Product Claims. Betabox, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
  • Intellectual Property Rights.In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your use of it infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, Betabox, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claim.
  • Legal Compliance.You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Third-Party Beneficiary.You acknowledge that Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
